  • I’m alive!

    By Joel | April 7, 2010

Well, its been quite a few months, but I figured I’d throw up a quick update. I’ve been saying I’ll keep this thing updated for months, but never have. Well, here’s to trying! Over the next few days I’m going to redesign this a little bit and get it public. Let’s just hope my schedule allows…

    Update, and some gigs. :)

    By Joel | September 16, 2009

Inspired, I am finally going to try to update this thing on a timely basis. Not sure why, no one checks it, but I guess I can start advertising it a bit better. I know I’ve said I’d update it before, but I should actually have a little time to tinker with plugins and stuff to get it working how I want.

First up, have a number of gigs, I’ll just list ‘em off with the bands, got a new band in there, details of my bands and such will follow at a later date.

    Upcoming Gigs:
9/18/09 – Smoke Town Road at Seven Bar in Bellville, IL
9/19/09 – Smoke Town Road BOB at Best Buy in Fairview Heights, IL
9/26/09 – Suitcase Nukes at Willie’s 109 West in Carlinville, IL
10/09/09 – The In? at The Bank in Hermann, MO
10/15/09 – The In? at The Bank in Hermann, MO
10/24/09 – Smoke Town Road at Seven Bar in Belleville, IL
    10/30/09 – The In? at Llwyelyn’s Soulard.

    Holy S**t, an update!

    By Joel | March 31, 2009

I just downloaded some fancy pants blog editor so I’m giving it a test. I should really get to updating this site more… always say I will, but never get around to it. Hopefully it’ll happen soon.

    New stuff

    By Joel | January 13, 2009

I tell myself I’m going to update this regularly, and I get side tracked. Today… not much. Saturday, The In is playing at the Stagger Inn… yes, that’s ripe for pun.

    Updates!

    By Joel | December 11, 2008

Been a while, but I just updated to Wordpress 2.7 and figured I should make a post. First off, this new dashboard is pretty effin sweet. Easier, more eye pleasing layout, easy to add posts, and it didn’t totally hose my front page.

Anyway, more updates after the break. Read the rest of this entry »

    Update!

    By Joel | September 30, 2008

Wow, talk about busy… pretty soon this site is going to be publicly searchable, so I’ll probably not be talking to myself anymore. Either way a few updates:

Added a My Bands page with details on the bands I’m in. If any sound interesting, shoot me a message and I can provide you with sound clips and booking info.

Just got done with a pretty fun outdoor gig this past weekend. I would like to say the place holding the event screwed us on power. They only provided HALF what they promised, so my wireless receiver wouldn’t work (which I forgot can use 9v batteries), and my effects pedal eventually started shutting off. Other than that, it was a blast.

I’ve also been huddled in the In classroom working on new tunes, check out the band’s link to the right to hear one of our jams.

    Playing The Roadhouse this Saturday

    By Joel | September 4, 2008

Landed an impromptu gig with the “Crosstown Traffic Band” this Saturday. Met the keys player at another gig, and he mentioned they needed a bassist. Anyway, here’s the flier:
